Our Process
We start with cleaning the tub with our industrial cleaner or etch, both contain mild hydrochloric acid that gets rid of any contaminants on the bathtub. Our next step is to put the epoxy primer on the bathtub. The epoxy primer gives the durability and longevity of the bathtub. Our epoxy primer has silane in it, which makes the epoxy primer much more durable than the average epoxy primer. Then we use the topcoat. The chemical we use is an Acrylic Polyurethane Enamel, which is the ONLY chemical that should be used in the restoration refinishing industry and is used by 95% of the professional refinishing companies throughout the USA. This coating gives the outer appearance like color and gloss.
